We heard about 1 am that my brother in Texas was killed in an motorcycle accident I do not know any details as of yet.

Just to let you know what is happening. My sister and I will be travelling to New York to my brother's today and flying to Texas on Thursday for the funeral on Friday. Then back to New York on Saturday.

My brother Carl was a lovely Christian and very active in his church. The rest of my family are not. it has been a very hard day yesterday. My sister has a lot of problems and has not accepted my father's death in May. I am thankful that I was here when we heard the news. I still have not taken it all in but the Lord has been really good.

I will be at my brother's Lewis for the next week. My plans for visiting some of the family made have to change but I am thankful that I do not have any meetings for another week or so. The BCM conference was a good one and the two workshops that I did went very well.

It was 89 yesterday and up to 95 today. I am glad that my brother's truck has air conditioning.

SATURDAY 4th Sept

Today is new day. I am flying back to new York this afternoon. Thank you for your prayers for yesterday. It was a long day. My brother had a full military funeral as he was in the navy. The Lord was so good. I am still taking it all in. Please keep praying for my sister who is really struggling.

I have next week before I need to start travelling on the 13th. I will be at my brothers but want to visit some friends in the area.
